Magnetic, radio-frequency and microwave effects in
high temperature superconductors. Dr. Natalia Noginova research featured on nanotechweb.org http://nanotechweb.org/articles/news/6/5/21/1 Proton NMR moves on 23 May 2007 A new study on the proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of a novel class of magnetorheological nanofluids could help scientists distinguish between healthy and damaged tissues in the human body. Natalia Noginova of Norfolk State University in the US and colleagues have found that suspensions of γ-iron oxide nanoparticles affect spin relaxation in liquids surrounding the nanoparticles. The effects are different from those in solids and vary for different liquids.
